We are bringing back Friday Finds. Can I get a Fri-YAY? And for this Friday Finds I have some local Nashville artisan jewelry.
I’m not much of a jewelry person but I can appreciate good jewelry when I see it. My high school friend turned me onto this new line of jewelry. It is created by local Nashville artist, Tony Perrin. The line is called Lock and Key. All of Lock and Key’s pieces are inspired by a person of intrigue. (I just love that little detail) I’m waiting for a Sara and Kaelin inspired piece. (Ahem, cough)
Our favorite of the line was the Zelda Fitzgerald bronze sculpted wings.
Interesting namesake information: Zelda Fitzgerald as described by literary critic Edmund Wilson, 1928: I sat next to Zelda, who was at her iridescent best. Some of Scott’s friends were irritated; others were enchanted,
by her. I was one of the ones who were charmed. She had the waywardness of a Southern belle and the lack of inhibitions of a child. —– I feel inspired just wearing it, as I am sure Sara did when she wore it for a show recently.
